I've been a hairstylist most of my life. Owned several salons in Western Australia and Beijing, China. I left Australia some years back and live in Los Angeles, California. I now buildout education and community platforms and produce digital content for early-stage startups in the hair, beauty, and men's grooming space. My last gig was with The Dollar Shave Club.
I've had an insane career. I'm still one of Australia's most awarded hairstylists, having won numerous state and national awards, including many Hair Expo and Schwarzkopf stylist awards. In addition, I've been a platform artist, author, speaker, and international session stylist for the likes of Schwarzkopf, Redken, Wella, Matrix, Goldwell (love Goldwell), and, more recently, Kim Vo, Tabatha Coffey, Daisy Fuentes, and Sherri Shepherd. My published styling and session work has been featured in glossies that span the globe, and my articles in the past few years have reached tens of millions of homes in the USA. (At one stage, reaching more homes in print media each month than Playboy).
I'm about to launch my second Indie hair care brand, and as a hobby, I consult and coach those wanting to find their authentic brand voice. I then help them create congruent social and educational content.
